I'm not the smartest puppy in the world, but I DEFINITELY have a good nose. And Mommy was smelling not so pretty the other night. Not like cookies like she normally does. I like it when she smells like cookies. Mmmm....cookies....I can't decide which I like better, the vanilla woofers or the peanut butter paws...

OH anyway....so because I thought she should smell like cookies again, I decided to take Mommy into the cold room with the water stuff...and give her one of those bath thingies. Usually I get Daddy to help me, but he seemed pretty busy with the shiny picture box, so I decided I would be a big boy and handle it myself.

At first she struggled. Apparently Mommies enjoy baths about as much as puppies do. She got a little upset, and was talking in the mean voice. But after awhile, it was a LOT easier because she just sat down in the water stuff. Then I didn't have a hard time at all making sure that she was clean! Except she kept grabbing my back, that was annoying. Not sure what THAT was about. She's probably still delusional and thinking that she's the alpha....HA!

Why doesn't she just realize that she is my bitch?

OOOOH.

My Mommy and Daddy took me to something call 'the dog park' the other day.
It was after I went to the vet lady and she poked and prodded at me in ways I don't care to share, so I was a little nervous.
We went through a big gate and I sudddenly saw a TON of the soft green blanket stuff. I like that stuff, it's tasty AND cool. BUT...
all over the soft green blanket stuff (mommy calls it something, but I can't remember! gross? brass? hmmm this is hurting my head)....there were LOTS of puppies. And actually quite a few of the two-legged pets as well. I had never SEEN this many, and to be honest it made me quite nervous. I stuck around close to Mommy for awhile. But then I decided to be brave.
I started to introduce myself to the two-legged pets, because I really like them. I met some REALLY well-behaved ones, and to my delight there were quite a few ear scratchies and belly rubs to be had. They kept telling me I am 'cute', which of course is obvious.
Then one of the little puppies started to chase me. THAT was fun. I ran away, and before I knew it there were LOTS of us running around and having fun. But just when it started to get REALLY fun (except for that one rude white puppy who tried to hump me without even chatting first!

), my pets said it was time to go.
Pfft. I hope we go back to that place, it was fun. They suck for making me leave. Maybe i'll pee on the carpet.

I had a really rough day today. I spent most of it chasing my tail, napping, and begging my mom to share some tasty thing she was playing with in the kitchen. I think there's a word for that, when she uses the big shiny thing to make the treats smaller? Oh well, who cares. I just like it when she drops a piece and doesn't notice.
I don't know what this Zoints thing is, but it must be pretty cool. Mom and Dad sleep a lot when they're not staring at those shiny picture boxes. And they don't play with me NEARLY as much. I think they feel guilty though, which means that I get a LOT of squeaky toys and belly rubs. So that's pretty nice.
Hmmm....so sleepy. I think I'll have a nice nap. I haven't done that in the last four hours or so..........
